May Fayre

Members of the Faith and Friendship Groups enjoyed some spectacular summer sun on the Rye as they helped out at the May Fayre on Bank Holiday Monday.

This annual extravaganza is hosted by the combined effort of all the Catholic Churches in High Wycombe working together.  Each year showcases a wide variety of local attractions with music and dancing together with stalls and games with light refreshments, a fabulous BBQ and, of course, the beer tent.

Next year, the Faith and Friendship Groups will be organising the Refreshment Tent and Barbeque area under the watchful eyes of the retiring experts – the valiant team of parishioners from St James’ who have served faithfully for so many years and are now looking forward to a well-earned rest. Their patience and friendly welcome was much appreciated as we learned the ropes under their tutelage ready for next year.
